Replacing garage door springs is herculean task and needs special attention and precautions. If precautions are not taken then it may leads to serious injury. Then place the other spring at the right hand side of the door. If the cable is still wounded on the drum, mark the positing. Now replace the old spring which is not damaged. But in doing so, never wind or unwind the spring with screw driver. Winding bars are used to safely remove the springs. Then test if the bar fits in the springs accurately or not. Now insert the bar into the once and round the tape on the bar.
